AG Adriano Goldschmied Wide Leg Crop Pants Plaid Houndstooth NWT Size 4 (27)
These pants have never left the dressing room of their own expectations, and you can tell. The houndstooth sits sharp and black against its pale ground, each small tooth biting into the next with the patience of a pattern that knows it will be looked at. They are new with tags, wide in the leg and cropped above the ankle, cut from cotton with a trace of stretch to keep the line honest.
Imagine them at the hour when office windows go amber and the street fills with people deciding where to be. The wide hems swing a half-beat behind you, like a thought you haven't quite finished. Nobody has worn them yet, which is a rare sort of promise, and a faintly alarming one.
