Altar'd State Denim Mini Skirt Dark Wash Raw Frayed Hem Zip Back Size S
This denim mini has the good sense to be dark, which in a skirt of such modest length amounts to a kind of tact. The wash is a deep and sober blue, the cotton has a respectable firmness, and the hem is left raw and frayed, so that it appears slightly undone while the rest of the garment remains entirely in order.
A zip at the back keeps the lines uncluttered, and it is gently used, which is to say it has been worn enough to lose its stiffness of manner but not its composure. You will tell yourself it is a practical purchase, a plain blue skirt for plain occasions, and you will be half right. The fringe will do the rest of the talking.
