Athena Current Mood Bandini Tankini Top Black Halter Swim Size 10
This black halter tankini top arrives with its tags still attached, which is a small, rare kind of innocence in a swimsuit. It is cut in the bandini style, a short and sleek band of polyester and spandex that rises to a halter at the neck and seems to know exactly where it is going. Black is the one color that never competes with the water; it lets the afternoon do the glittering.
Imagine it at the edge of a pool just as the light turns from white to honey, when everyone has stopped pretending to read. The fabric holds its line the way a good secret does, quietly and with some style. Nothing about it has been worn yet, and it seems to be waiting, a little wistfully, for the first summer that will claim it.
