Banana Republic Lace Up Ankle Pants Black Long Slim Fit NWT Size 6 Long
These black Banana Republic pants arrived with their tags still on, and I have to report that they look like they have never once been talked out of their own good judgment. The cut is slim and long, built for a woman with legs to spare, and the cotton holds a flat, serious black that makes every other dark thing in the closet seem like it is pretending.
Then you reach the ankles, where the lace-up detail turns up like a hired accomplice, snapping each hem into a tight little corset and tipping off the whole street that these are not ordinary jeans-adjacent trousers. They are new with tags, which means nobody else has gotten the first word in. Buy them before some cautious pair of khakis gets the chance to.
