These jeans arrived with the tags still on, which tells you they have never been out in the world, and I suspect they are itching to correct that. The black coating is stamped with a snakeskin pattern that catches the light like a wet road at midnight, and the mid rise sits where a good argument ought to start. Cotton and polyester with a little Lycra keep the stretch honest, so the whole operation moves with you instead of negotiating every step.
Picture them crossing a room full of denim that has never taken a risk: the coated surface flashes, the conversation stalls, and somebody swears the floor just shifted. They are new with tags, women's Express, called Skyscraper, and the only thing left to do is wear them hard.
