This navy pleated skort arrives new with tags, still uncreased by a single hallway shove, and I have rarely seen a piece of schoolwear so ready to march into a Monday morning and take over the place. It is a skort, which means a skirt up front and a polyester lining doing quiet shorts duty underneath, so the girl wearing it can climb the jungle gym, sprint the field, and cross the cafeteria like a small, well-pressed delegation with somewhere to be. Izod made it for approved-schoolwear duty, and it looks the part.
The pleats hold their lines like a row of tiny, disciplined fence posts, and the navy is deep enough to swallow a spilled juice box without comment. Girls, regular fit, polyester through and through.
