The skirt arrived with its tags still attached, which tells you it has never been out in the world, and you can feel it straining toward the door anyway: a black and brown leopard print pleated midi that moves like a rumor crossing a crowded room, every pleat snapping open on the first step and swinging back shut with the smug click of a thing that knows exactly what it just did. Kaari Blue calls it Winter Bloom, and I'd say the leopard got there first.
It's polyester, polyester lined, so the thing slides over whatever you wear beneath it instead of grabbing at it like a bad idea. New with tags, womens, midi length, and ready to prowl a cold sidewalk without apology. Somebody should wear it soon.
