These capris showed up with the tags still attached, which in my experience means nobody has yet had the nerve to take them out into the world and let them make trouble. Lane Bryant cut them as boyfriend jeans, mid rise, petite length, in a medium blue wash that sits somewhere between a clear afternoon sky and a rented bowling shoe, and I mean that as a compliment.
The cotton denim carries a little spandex, so the fit gives when you do, and the cropped hem stops well short of the ankle like a getaway driver who knows when to quit. They are new with tags and have never been worn, which means every wrinkle in them is still a rumor. Somebody should take them out and start a few.
