Lane Bryant Denim Cargo Crop Pants Blue Elastic Waist NWT Size 20
These Lane Bryant cargo crops showed up new with tags, which in the secondhand trade is roughly the same as finding a parked getaway car with the keys on the dash, and I am here to report that the car is blue denim, cut cropped, and wearing an elastic waist that does not negotiate with your lunch. The pockets are the real story: cargo pockets, plural, hanging off the legs like a pair of deputized sidekicks, ready to swallow a phone, a key ring, a crumpled receipt, whatever evidence the day produces. Nobody has worn them yet.
The cotton denim has the look of something that wants to be out on the sidewalk by nine and halfway across town by ten. Pull them on, let the waistband do its quiet work, and the cropped hem leaves your ankles free for sandals, boots, or a fast exit.
