Old Navy Sky Hi Wide Leg Jeans Extra High Rise Washed Black NWT Size 2
These jeans have never been out after dark, and you can tell by the way they wait: washed black, soft as a night that has not yet decided what to become, with the tags still swinging from them like a ticket to somewhere. The extra high rise climbs to the narrowest part of the waist and holds it with quiet authority, and from there the wide legs let go entirely, falling in long, unhurried folds that will move a half-second behind you wherever you walk.
The denim is cotton softened with lyocell and a whisper of spandex, so it drapes more than it stiffens, and it gives where a person needs giving. They are new, unworn, and faintly unaware of everything they might yet be taken to.
