Southern Lady Enchantment Petite Button Front Top Blue Embroidered NWT Size 18P
This top has never once been worn, and it still carries the faint, hopeful stiffness of a thing waiting for its first invitation. The green is deep and cool, the shade of a garden hedge at the hour when the lamps come on, and across it the blue embroidery drifts like a line of thought someone meant to finish. A row of buttons runs down the front, neat as a small promise.
Cut for the petite frame, in a polyester and spandex blend with a little give, it moves when you do and forgets itself when you stop. The tags are still attached, which is its own quiet kind of glamour: all that possibility, and not a single crease of regret. Someone will put it on, button upward, and the evening will begin to arrange itself around her.
