St. John's Bay 7 Inch Mid Rise Chino Shorts Yellow NWT Size 2
These shorts are the yellow of a porch light left on for someone who has promised to come, warm and patient and a little hopeful. They are chino shorts with a mid rise and a seven inch inseam, cut in cotton with a touch of spandex, so they move when you do and settle back without complaint. They have never been worn, and the tags are still attached, like a ticket kept for a train not yet boarded.
Picture them on a late afternoon in June, when the light goes syrupy and every sidewalk seems to be heading somewhere better. They ask very little of a plain white tee or a striped shirt, only that you step outside and let the evening find you. Summer is always a promise, and these are ready to keep a small part of it.
