Talbots Floral Print Mini Skirt Purple Green Blue Lined Size 4
The garden on this skirt has been painted in the hour just after rain, when purple deepens toward dusk and the greens and blues seem to lean on one another for warmth. Blossoms drift across the cotton as though a breeze had arranged them, each one soft at the edges and a little unsure whether to stay. It is a mini, cut short and light, with a touch of spandex to forgive a quickened step.
Inside, a polyester lining keeps the fabric smooth against the skin, a quiet courtesy that no one will notice and everyone will feel. Like new, it carries no trace of a previous summer, only the faint promise of the next one, waiting by the door like a invitation not yet opened.
