Talbots Perfect Skimmer Pedal Pusher Pants Green White Gingham NWT Size 18
These pedal pushers came out of the bag at full speed, green and white gingham checks lined up like a picnic blanket that had somehow acquired a pulse and a mortgage-free sense of purpose, and I watched them lay claim to the whole room before I could even find the hanger. They are the Talbots Perfect Skimmer cut, cotton with a little spandex for give, and they stop right where a pedal pusher ought to, somewhere south of the knee and north of any real trouble.
Never worn, tags still attached, which in my experience is a rare form of restraint. The gingham is loud in a polite, church-lawn way, the kind of loud that wins arguments without raising its voice. Buy them before some other clever person does.
