This tankini has the good sense to be black, which allows the flamingos printed across it to appear lively without seeming to have lost their heads. The top is a blouson, cut with enough easy fullness to skim the figure rather than interrogate it, and the boyshorts below offer the kind of coverage that makes a long afternoon of sitting, standing, and being looked at considerably less of an undertaking. It comes new with tags, so its only history is the one you give it.
The flamingos are, after all, creatures of confident posture and doubtful practicality, and they suit a swimsuit well enough. A blend of polyester and spandex lets it stretch where wanted and return where expected. One may swear never to buy a patterned swimsuit again.
